CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk
This course covers performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify children and young people who are at risk and report in line with legislative requirements. This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility. This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people including in community services and health contexts.

Before you start your online course, you will need to make sure you have supplied us with the following information:
If you haven’t supplied us with your USI or AVETMISS data, you must complete the required information before continuing.
The flexible format of the course means that you can log in as many times as required to complete the course – you do not need to complete the course all in one sitting.
Learning content is provided in an online format within the course. The assessment component consist of multiple choice questions, written questions, student self-video assessments and incident report forms.
Please note that all case studies within this course are fictional. As a wide variety of job descriptions and workplace environments exist, case studies may not always cover all types of possible scenarios encountered within your job role or scope of work.
However, these case studies should allow you to apply your decision making and duty of care responsibility across the board, when recognising and reporting children and young people at risk.
For our online courses, we recommend that you use Google Chrome as your browser, as other browsers, such as Internet Explorer, may not display the multimedia content of the course.

What is a USI?
USI (Unique Student Identification)
This is a new Government requirement. Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) will contain all your nationally recognised training records and results from January 1 2015 onwards. Applying for your own USI number is relatively easy to complete.
To apply for a USI is quick and easy. Go to www usi.gov.au.

Can I change the date once I've booked?
Yes. Look at the calendar and see what course you would like to change to, then send us an email using the contact form and we will send you a new invitation for the new date.
There is no additional cost to make this change this change.
What if I don't see a date for the course I want to book?
If you'd like to attend a course, but there is no date scheduled you should contact us using the contact form and let us know which course interests you. Often we have had other enquiries about the same course and are able to schedule a date that suits.
